Nothing to sea here, folks
Beaches deserted
BRITAIN’S beaches and parks are almost unrecognisable without the bustling crowds.
Most people have taken the lockdown seriously and are resisting the urge to make the most of the sun.
Only a handful were spotted yesterday on Brighton’s sea front.
It was in stark contrast to this time last year, pictured inset below, when the south coast beach was packed with sunbathers.
Tourist hotspot Windsor was also a lot quieter than usual, with just a few people taking their daily exercise along The Long Walk by the castle yesterday morning.
The Government has told people to avoid parks and beaches, despite the warmer weather.
Those who are refusing have been warned that they could cause quarantine measures to be kept in place for longer.
