LOCKDOWN AND LOAD

-

A VIRUS is ravaging a city and its population. If that sounds familiar, don’t worry – the Resident Evil 3 Remake offers escapism for lockdown gamers.

Just over a year on from the Resident Evil 2 Remake, it’s time to return to Raccoon City.

This 2020 reimagining feels like last year’s game in many ways, only sped up and thirstier for zombie blood. It treads the line between tension and action well, and the unstoppable Tyrant Nemesis that’s chasing you cements his legacy as one of the series’ most enduring creatures.

There are some brain-teasers, but none as obtuse as some of

Resident Evil 2’s, and the story moves at a brisker pace than its predecessor too.

If you’re stuck inside and looking for somewhere to escape, you will find the Raccoon City outbreak more than accommodating.
