SELENA Gomez has been officially diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The singer revealed the news while talking to Miley Cyrus on her online Bright Minded series.

Selena is glad she now knows for sure, adding: “When I have more information, it actually helps me. It doesn’t scare me once I know it.

“When I was younger, I was scared of thunderstorms and my mum bought me books on thunderstorms.

“She said, ‘The more you educate yourself, the more you’re not to afraid’.

“That’s something that really helps.”
