BEHIND the scenes, work is under way to stage a Virtual Greyhound Derby, although not to replace the actual event itself.

Plans are still afoot to take the sport’s main competition at Nottingham later in the year.

However, a Virtual Greyhound Derby could be hosted to raise money for rehoming charities and trainers. Watch this space.
