A game changer

FOOTBALL will never be the same again according to Sam Allardyce.

“These are worrying times with people’s health all that matters,” said Big Sam (below).

“When normal life resumes things will be very different. The game faces a long period of austerity.

“Even before coronavirus I didn’t think football could carry on forever with crazy transfer fees and huge salaries.

“The average man and woman will have other priorities after this and a football subscription won’t be top of their list. “Not everyone will be happy whatever’s decided.”
