The actor’s comedy about the camp singing contest is released on Netflix this week.

And it will introduce millions of people to the song competition for the first time.

Will, 52, has been a fan of Eurovision for years after his Swedish wife got him hooked – but most Americans have no idea what it is.

He said: “There’s a level of camp that is unlike anything we have here in the US.

“On televised US competitions we’ve pretty much had people standing in one spot and singing. Eurovision is about these incredible performances where you choreography, bizarre props, costumes and make-up.”
