David’s ‘weaved’ his magic on Dyche

SEAN DYCHE has saluted Manchester City head boy David Silva – for having the best hair transplant he’s ever seen.

Spanish wizard Silva is waving farewell to the Premier League after a hair-raising decade of success at The Etihad.

Silva, 34, has won four league crowns and has proved an absolute snip at £26million from Valencia in 2010.

And Dyche reckons he is up there with the best the league has seen.

The Burnley boss said: “He’s fantastic. He’s got to be up there.

“Year after year he’s been a top performer with energy, effort, awareness – everything you would want out of an attacking player.

“And by the way he works – he’ll recover, he’ll get a foot in when he can. He’s not a big tackler but he’ll nick it.

“He’s even got amazing hair – he’s got the best transplant I’ve ever seen.

“Whatever he touches, it just turns to gold.”

Silva has inflicted plenty of damage on Burnley and will look to add to that when the sides meet at The Etihad tomorrow night.

But Dyche will still be sorry to see him go.

He added: “I can’t tell you what big a fan I am.

“Kevin De Bruyne has come through at City as well but Silva, for me, he’s an absolutely top player.

“He has got to be in the Prem top 10. Ask him to do a job and he does it.

“And he went through a lot with his baby being ill.

“He’s professionally outstanding as well as a great, great player.”

Burnley go to City a point off the 40-point safety mark and the Clarets chief added: “That is always the first port of call.

“It’s not negative or positive, it’s just the mandate I’m given.

“To have 39 points now is a decent tally but we’ve got to get more points on the board and see how far we can take it.”
