BTA AWARDS Vote in the ‘holiday Oscars’ and win big
VOTING for the UK’s
2020 holiday “Oscars” is open today – and you could win a five-star cruise for two.
The industry has been hit hard by the pandemic, but the British Travel Awards are going ahead – giving you a chance to support your favourite firms and look forward to a better 2021.
There are 51 categories, covering the likes of tour operators big and small, destination specialists, and coach, rail, camping and luxury holiday providers.
You can vote for companies who gave exemplary customer service in this unprecedented time – whether for cancellations, refunds or the re-booking of getaways hit by
Covid-19.
The ballot for the awards is open until November 22, with a virtual ceremony in December.
As a thank you for joining the nation’s biggest consumer-voted programme, every voter goes into a draw to win a luxury Nicko river cruise for two people on the Rhine or Danube in 2021.
The all-inclusive, seven-night voyage, worth £5,190, is courtesy of Light Blue Travel (light bluetravel.co.uk) and comes with flights, transfers, excursions and onboard wi-fi, with certain blackout dates.
Voters can bid for fabulous holidays in an online auction in aid of NHS Charities Together, to thank the service for being there when we needed them most. When you vote you’ll find a link to see the lots in the British Travel Awards/Reach plc* Great Big Online Travel Auction.
Reach plc, publisher of the Daily Star, Mirror and Express national titles, the Daily Record and Sunday Mail in Scotland, 240 regional newspapers and more than 70 websites, is the official media partner of the 2020 British Travel Awards.
