Hollywood ex Alex’s show plan
PAUL Hollywood’s ex-wife is hoping to land a TV cooking show of her own.
Alex Hollywood has already hosted an innuendo-led cook-a-long with her friend Lotte Duncan called Chop And Chat, which went out online on Instalive.
Alex, who split from Paul in 2017, said: “We’ve been putting ideas together. We’d absolutely love to do it as a proper programme.
“We love to be together. It’s so fun. We’ve got some ideas. It’s all written.
“We just need a commissioning editor to say, ‘That’s a fantastic idea’.’”
The online show, where Alex cooked chicken tikka, was laden with innuendos including a discussion about who had the biggest pair of lemons.
Reflecting on how she met Lotte through Great British Bake Off judge Paul, Alex said: “It was years ago at Harrogate. Mary, lovely Mary Berry, was there.
“It was about 2013. Lotte was doing Harrogate food show on the stage.”
