LAST week we told you to keep an eye out for Blizzard Entertainment’s annual BlizzCon, taking place this weekend – and the top developer didn’t disappoint.

World Of Warcraft fans had a double dose of good news.

There was the reveal for Chains Of Domination, the first major content update coming later this year for WoW Shadowlands.

Those who prefer things a bit more retro can also look forward to Burning Crusade Classic, an authentic recreation of the acclaimed first expansion.

This wasn’t to be the only piece of nostalgic news of the weekend, with Blizzard announcing that one of the most acclaimed PC games in history will rise again.

Diablo II: Resurrected is a faithful remaster of the classic action-RPG.

For the first time it’s on consoles, as well as Windows PC.

The developer also celebrated its 30th anniversary with a re-release of three classics from the early 90s. The Blizzard Arcade Collection – available now on PCs and consoles – includes original SNES/ Megadrive hits The Lost Vikings, Rock N Roll Racing and Blackthorne.

Though it’s not ready for release this year, fans of the highly anticipated Overwatch 2 also received plenty of behind-thescenes looks and deep dives.

All of which can be watched back on YouTube – just like the panels, trailers and announcements. So if you didn’t fancy staying up late on Friday for the opening ceremony or watching streams on Saturday, you can relive it today at your own pace.
