Andy keen to see Reds roar

ANDY ROBERTSON says Liverpool must tonight rediscover the battling qualities that helped them do the double over Sheffield United last season.

The Reds won 1-0 at Bramall Lane after Georginio

Wijnaldum’s second-half strike was fumbled by keeper Dean

Henderson and beat the Blades 2-0 at home.

Left-back Robertson, 26 (below) said: “For me, there’s no easy game against Sheffield United. Last season when we played them, they were two of the hardest games we played all season – especially away from home.

“It was more their keeper’s mistake that won us the first game.

“Similar to us, you don’t turn into a bad team overnight. It’s one of the toughest games of the season and irrelevant of form, it’s going to be a battle.

“We know what we expect from them but it’s about trying to match that and about trying to then overcome that, which we did so well last season in the two games. “We need to go into it with that same attitude then hopefully our qualities can shine. But we need to be up for the fight first, because they will be.”

ARSENAL are among a host of top clubs plotting a summer move for Wigan’s Kyle Joseph.

The striker (above) has made a name for himself this season after coming through the ranks at the League One club, scoring five goals in 14 league appearances.

The Gunners have been tracking his progress for some time, along with a number of other Premier League and Championship sides.

Joseph, 19, was born in London but represents Scotland at age group level and is also on the radars of Rangers and Celtic.

His contract expires in June, when he will be available on a free.
