Inter in hunt for Martial

INTER MILAN have revived their interest in Manchester United striker Anthony Martial.

And while United are not looking to sell Martial, who is under contract for another three years – plus an additional 12-month option – they could be interested in a summer deal if they win the battle for Borussia Dortmund goal machine Erling Haaland, 20.

France forward Martial,

25, has had an erratic season and has scored only four times in the Premier League.

But on his day he’s an exciting player and Inter have a long-standing interest in Martial (above), who cost United

£58million from Monaco back in 2015.

They have four former Old Trafford men – Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian – among their ranks.

BRIGHTON’S Lewis Dunk branded referee Lee Mason’s performanc­e in their defeat at West Brom “embarrassi­ng” after the official disallowed, then allowed a goal – before VAR stepped in to rule it out.

Dunk’s quick free-kick caught out Sam Johnstone in the West Brom goal but Mason chalked it off before reversing his decision, only for VAR to intervene.

“It’s embarrassi­ng,” said Dunk. “It’s a horrendous decision. I said to the referee, ‘Can I take it?’ He blew his whistle and I took it.

“Why doesn’t he come and speak to the press like me? Never, they hide behind their bubble.
