He reprises his role as scientist Dr Ian Malcolm, who reluctantl­y agrees to return to the island with a team of researcher­s. Pete Postlethwa­ite co-stars as a big-game hunter who is there to bag the most impressive trophy of all – a Tyrannosau­rus rex.

Charlize Theron performed the majority of her own stunts in this stylish action adventure based on graphic novel The Coldest City. She plays Lorraine Broughton, an MI6 spy tracking down a list of double agents during the final days of the Berlin Wall. James McAvoy co-stars as the eccentric Berlin station chief assigned to help her in her mission.

10.45pm, Film4

A pre-Transforme­rs Shia LaBeouf plays a troubled teenager who’s put under house arrest for punching his teacher. After he befriends the cute girl next door (Sarah Roemer), the duo pass their time spying on their neighbours. However, an innocent game turns nasty when they begin to suspect that one of them (David Morse) is a killer.

9pm, Comedy Central

Old acting buddies Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson team up once again for this daft but likeable fish-out-ofwater comedy. They play old-fashioned salesmen who have failed to move with the times. When they’re put out to pasture by their current employers, they decide to change their lives by working for Google – and that’s when the trouble starts...
