Duty calls at the bar

IT’S now only a few hours until Magic Monday.

Or Freedom Day, as some people are calling it.

The shops will be open, the pubs will be open, we can go to the gym and get our hair cut.

And, just in time, it looks as if the weather is cheering up, too.

Most of the country will see temperatures double – as we head to the beer garden for the first time in many months.

There is a feeling that everything is conspiring to get us back to normal.

Now it’s time to do our bit to help the economy.

If you have a few quid spare, spend them on the High Street which has had such a battering.

And a drink or two will also help Britain plc.

Raising an elbow is not simply a pleasure. It’s your absolute duty!
