CRUNCH TIME ON SARNIES

BIG sandwich news this week as Subway announced they can now add crisps to your sarnie.

I reckon they’ll make a packet. You’ll never see anyone driving to get this new delicacy, though – they’re purely Walkers.

The concept of Subway is great because you don’t have to tolerate extra fillings you don’t fancy.

Speaking of which, I saw my ex working in there recently.

So I went in and had her make me a sandwich, for old times’ sake.

I love how they love a pun as much as me, even including one on the receipt.

It reads: “Lettuce know how we did today and we’ll send you a sweet offer.”

I like how they sandwiched it in.

But if you think their new topping sounds delicious, have you seen the new Colin the Caterpillar creation?

This time they’ve squished him into glassware as a “cake jar”.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer my Colin intact.
