Vinyl countdown

-

THE Killers may have to delay their new album because of a vinyl shortage.

Speaking about the new music Brandon Flowers revealed: “It is finished.

We are in the mastering stage. It will come out this year.

“We were hoping for an early summer release, but vinyl pressings are all inundated with people who held albums back because of Covid and now they are trying to get them out for this push.

“We are running into a wall, but it will be this year as it is finished.”

★SADLY, we lost rapper DMX this

week, but his music can’t be stopped. A new single, X Moves, is out now by the star, who died after a heart attack following a suspected overdose. The rock/hip-hop hybrid features Deep Purple drummer Ian Paice, Yes and Asia guitarist Steve Howe, with signature space bass by Bootsy Collins.

Co-producer Brian Perera said: “Our hearts go out to all of DMX’s family, friends and supporters.”
