BMW has tweaked the prices of its pioneering i3 electric vehicle range so the cars still qualify for the Government’s PICG grant.

Prices for the i3 120Ah start at

£33,805, while the sportier i3s

120Ah costs from £34,805. BMW was one of the first firms to launch a bespoke pure electric car and since that date in 2013 it has sold 200,000 of them.

BMW aims to have 13 all-electric models in its catalogue by 2023, with the iX3 electric crossover arriving in the UK in July this year.
