Too Close

Clara Salaman spent two years in The Bill as Don Beech’s arch enemy Claire Stanton before focusing on a writing career. She penned the novel Too Close under the pseudonym Natalie Daniels, but adapted it for the screen under her own name.

Salaman’s friend Emily Watson stars as Emma Robertson, a forensic psychiatrist whose latest patient is the seemingly bright and amusing Connie Mortensen (Denise Gough). She’s been accused of a terrible crime and now Emma must determine whether she’s sane enough to stand trial.

But during their sessions, Connie turns the tables, and it’s Emma who reveals more about her own life than she should...
