All That Glitters: Britain’s Next Jewellery Star 8pm, BBC Two

We love The Great British Bake Off, enjoy The Great Pottery Throw Down, admire the skills of those on Glow Up and are looking forward to a new run of The Great British Sewing Bee. Now we’re adding another to the list of creative competitions all based on the same format.

All That Glitters runs for a little longer than just two series. Like the aforementioned shows, it has its own special HQ, this time in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter.

Tonight’s first test sees the competitors make three silver bangles. Then they face the bespoke challenge – contestant Ben wants a pendant necklace for his mum to wear to Buckingham Palace.
