RAAB’S IN LINE OF FIRE
DOMINIC Raab faces renewed pressure after fresh claims that he failed to engage with foreign officials until the Taliban reached Kabul.
There have been calls for the Foreign Secretary to resign in recent days over his handling of the crisis.
Boris Johnson has backed Mr Raab.
But that was before claims suggesting he did not pick up the phone to foreign ministers until Sunday as he was on holiday.
Witnesses say they saw Mr Raab swimming and using a paddleboard on the last day of a five-star break in Crete.
He had earlier insisted he “talked to foreign counterparts” while abroad.
