‘Result’ for charity staff

A FORMER Royal Marine who founded an animal charity in Kabul says it’s “an absolute result” his Afghan staff are being processed by the Foreign Office. Paul “Pen” Farthing, still in the city, last week made an impassioned plea to the Government to help his 68 workers and their families.

He said: “We’re just waiting for that process to finish. Hopefully, it shouldn’t take too long.

“So everyone can stop emailing the Prime Minister for now.”
