Bid to end hell of dog snatching

-

A DOG food company is helping to trace missing pets and return them to their owners.

Raw food company The Farmer’s Dog is placing pictures of missing animals on their products.

The firm teamed up with nationwide voluntary organisation DogLost to create stickers with the profiles of six missing pets at a time.

The Devon-based company is urging its customers to take a photo of the sticker to share on social media to help the search for the lost animals.

The stickers will be changed each month, so up to 72 stolen and missing dogs will be highlighted in a year.

Brian Balston, from The Farmer’s Dog, said: “We are excited to be working with DogLost and we hope our collaboration helps return dogs to their owners.”

DogLost’s Justine Quirk added: “With dog ownership in the UK at an all-time high, unfortunately so is dog theft.”
