PEOPLE from the home of Alan Partridge spend more time cooking than anywhere else in the country.
Norwich – where Steve Coogan’s comedy creation lives – is the gourmet capital of the UK.
Locals spend five hours and 52 minutes preparing meals in the kitchen every week, a poll for cookware brand Pyrex discovered.
But those from Southampton spend just four hours and four minutes cooking – less than anywhere else.
Pyrex spokeswoman Alexandra Blyth said: “If you come from Norwich, the chances are you know your way around your kitchen.”
