A con artist frog (Rob Tinkler) and a mildmannered marmoset (Cory Doran) go on a globe-trotting adventure in a stodgy animation based loosely on Jules Verne’s novel.

The amphibian, who goes by the name of Phileas (obviously), forms a passable duo with the bookish primate, and there are a couple of zippy action scenes.

But the jokes, like Phileas taking “shellfies” with a clam camera, are strictly for little monkeys.
