Supercar special
Ford is creating a special edition of its GT hybrid supercar which celebrates the
1964 Ford GT prototypes that eventually developed into the Le Mans winning
GT40. Featuring Wimbledon White paintwork with triple racing stripes, the GT Prototype Heritage Edition will be built next year, which is also the last year of production for the car itself. Inside, there’s plenty of carbon fibre and ebony-coloured leather.
I’ve only ever seen one Ford GT in the UK, and that’s the yellow one that Ford itself owns. Pity how these exotic cars are sold and then hidden away in collections.
