FREIBURG shocked the Bundesliga with a gritty 2-1 win over a Borussia Dortmund yesterday.

Vincenzo Grifo rocked the visitors early, putting Freiburg ahead with a sixth-minute free-kick.

That shocked Erling Haaland and Co into action, with England midfielder Jude Bellingham coming closest to an equaliser in the first half, hitting the post with a header.

Dortmund kept possession for long spells but were 2-0 down eight minutes after the break when Roland Sallai slammed the ball home from close range and despite Yannik Keitel’s effort, the hosts held on.
