XHERDAN SHAQIRI’S prospective move to Lyon hangs in the balance with the French club still some way short of Liverpool’s valuation of the Swiss.

The Reds are prepared to let Shaqiri, 29, bring a three-season stint at Anfield to a close and he has agreed personal terms ahead of a possible move to Ligue 1.

But Liverpool are standing firm on his valuation after rejecting an opening bid believed to be around £5million.

They are keen to recoup a figure closer to the £13m it cost to bring Shaqiri in from Stoke in the summer of 2018.

AC MILAN have signed Italy international defender Alessandro Florenzi, 30, on a season-long loan from Serie A rivals Roma.
