Trip to ‘love isle’ was just Wright

- @mrpatsharp

WE’RE feeling happy here at the Fun House after we were lucky enough to have a little holiday.

Monica and I were invited to our friend Jess Wright’s wedding in Majorca and it was such a gorgeous few days.

It was pretty emotional – even the cake was in tiers. Ba-dum cha!

Jess and Will were finally able to tie the knot after having to postpone it because of the Covid restrictions.

It was a beautiful ceremony for two beautiful people – I’d love to share more gossip but my lips are sealed as they have a magazine deal.

Jess gave her groom a gift on the day – a small notebook and a pencil to remind him he had married Miss Write!

Hollywood marriages are funny – big movie stars just seem to get hitched so many times.

Like the actress who was asked: “You were married four times: to a banker, an actor, to a minister, and to an undertaker. Can you tell me why?”

Well, it was One for the money, Two for the show, Three to get ready, and Four to go!

I’m sure Jess and Will won’t have any such problems.

But there really is no instruction manual for marriage.

And that’s a good job, because what man ever reads the instructions?

Can I just offer the simple advice I give to all newlyweds…

Firstly, if your wife ever goes AWOL at a party, find a beautiful woman and have a few minutes’ chit-chat with her.

Why? Because every time I talk to a beautiful woman my wife appears out of nowhere!

And remember there are just two rules to a happy marriage.

Rule One: Your wife is always right. Rule Two: If you ever feel she’s wrong, give yourself a slap and just refer back to Rule One!
