Home of the stars just perfect for huge clash

-

IT’S been a pleasure to be back in Los Angeles this week in the build-up to the Super Bowl.

It’s always a huge week but, especially with it being in LA, you’ve just been able to feel that buzz and that excitement.

LA is always an intense place. It’s known for the stars – it is the home of Hollywood after all – so it would be easy for the Super Bowl to just feel like a normal week.

But because the Rams are playing, the hometown team, there’s just a different vibe everywhere and you can feel that energy.

You go out and you see the jersey representation, Rams gear is everywhere, but there’s also loads of Bengals fans in town because it’s their first Super Bowl in a very long time. This city can distract you in a lot of ways, but the NFL has taken it over and it’s just the perfect place for the Super Bowl.

We’ve had perfect weather, we’ll be in an unbelievable stadium, and it’s a perfect situation to see some greatness go down on the field.

There are some great storylines heading into the game, none more

so than Joe Burrow and the Bengals defying all the odds to get here.

As we get closer to the game, I just keep thinking about how talented the Rams are, and the fact that, being at home, everything seems to line up for them.

Having said that, they are only a four-point favourite, and then you remember what Burrow and this Bengals team has been able to do.

At any point, they’ve been able to turn it on when they need to.

The Rams have the talent, but if the Bengals can hang in there, then we’ve seen what they can do late on in close games.

It’s going to be fascinating and it all comes down to the quarterbacks. Now it’s time to see who can get it done one more time.
