EAGLE-eyed fashion followers can look like Dame Edna Everage – if they have £810 to burn.

Italian firm Gucci is flogging a range of sunglasses in pink and black that ape the comedy icon’s specs.

Would-be buyers are told: “A glamorous rendition of the 50s cat-eye frame, these two-tone sunglasses convey Gucci Aria’s new idea of femininity, with a winged frame and sparkling crystals.

“The name of the house appears as a subtle enamel detail along contrasting pink temples.”

Dame Edna, brought to life by the Australian comedian Barry Humphries, is known the world over for her glamorous cat-eye glasses and the catchphrase: “Hello, possums.”

Meanwhile, fans of Frank Spencer can copy his style with Victoria Beckham’s clobber.

The designer is flogging tank tops beloved by the bumbling TV character in the classic BBC comedy Some Mothers Do ’Ave ’Em.

But Frank – played by Michael Crawford – would have had “a liddle bidda trouble” meeting the £390 price.

The firm says: “Cut with a slightly dropped shoulder, the sleeveless knitted crew-neck tank top is an excellent example of this season’s functional yet flattering approach to dressing.

“Versatile and easy to wear, it is made in Italy from a lightweight, striped layering fabrication.”

Gucci is also in on the trend, asking £700 for a men’s green tank.

A camel-coloured version is £610 and buyers are told: “Spun in Italy from a pliable wool blend, this sweater vest is detailed with Gucci’s signature ‘GG’ motif interspersed in fine broken stripes. It’s a noticeable yet still low-key way to rep the brand when layered under a blazer.”

The luxury brand does a women’s version that would have Frank’s long-suffering wife Betty – Michele Dotrice in the shows – reeling because it costs a staggering £750.

Blokes can complete the look with a Frank-style beret for £250.
