Spooks told me: Put alien secrets in your TV show

SAYS SCI-FI FILM PRODUCER

- ■ EXCLUSIVE edward.gleave@dailystar.co.uk

THE makers of a TV sci-fi show were approached by a “Man in Black” to include revelations about aliens in their scripts.

Hollywood producer Bryce Zabel said the “US agent” told him it would prepare the public for when they make contact.

He claimed an official asked him to incorporate X-Files-type information about E.T.s into plots on his 90s drama Dark Skies.

Zabel, now a UFO investigator, was contacted by the man called “JC” at the show’s launch party.

He said: “I didn’t know this guy. He said he was from the Office of Naval Intelligence and he wanted to help us.

“They were looking at a disclosure scenario, so ‘How ultimately does this secret become known to the public?.’

“The President just can’t come out and say, ‘Here’s everything’ all at once.’ So they wanted to see more of the truth through fiction.”

Dark Skies co-creator Brent V. Friedman recalled: “I can’t tell you how surreal this was. They wanted to help us come up with some story ideas.

“JC said to me, ‘It’s a drip system… get the truth out there in small ways.

“‘You have a television show that millions of people are watching right now… if we start lacing it with bits of the truth we’re preparing everybody.’”

They heard nothing more from the “agent”, but UFO expert Philip Mantle claimed it was not an isolated incident.

He said: “There is a theory that the powers-that-be have influence over Hollywood.

“At one time alien movies were about them invading Earth, like War Of The Worlds.

“But then they became friendly like E.T., where the aliens turned out to be nice.

“The theory is they are preparing us for contact, so when aliens turn up we think we don’t need to be worried.”

Some investigators think an announcement is imminent.

Videos of encounters between jets and UFOs have been released, and a report said the US could not rule out alien life.
