England has ex factor to hit our title hopes, says Hayes

CHELSEA manager Emma Hayes is wary of former player Bethany England coming back to hurt their Women’s Super League title challenge when they visit Tottenham today.

Hayes allowed forward England to leave last month in a deal understood to be a record between WSL clubs.

them not to slip up this weekend.

“Bethany is going to bring goals to that team,” said Hayes. “She links well.

“Her leadership from the front, experience from being at a team like ours, she will be bringing a lot to Tottenham’s front line.

“They’re always a tough team to play against.

“They’ve improved their squad in the January window and because of that – and players coming back from injury – they will be even tougher to beat.”
