Tommy: No way I’ll lose to Jake

- From DONAGH CORBY in Saudi Arabia

TOMMY FURY has vowed to rid boxing of its ‘Problem Child’ with a quick stoppage of Jake Paul in Riyadh tonight.

After two years of intensive build-up and multiple cancellations, it’s Love Island star meets YouTuber in a bout worth millions.

UK fans will need to shell out a £19.95 fee to watch on pay-per-view.

Undoubtedly, the Brit will be Paul’s toughest test, coming from a legendary family and holding years more experience as a boxer both professionally and as an amateur.

And Fury said: “I can guarantee 110 per cent this fight will be going down and it will be a very exciting fight.

“Losing is not an option. It doesn’t come into my mind, I have the mentality of a winner and I don’t envision losing.

“The man can’t fight, at least the other fighters I’ve fought are actually fighters. This guy is a gimmick and everybody’s going to know that after this fight.

“Throughout my entire career I will never fight anybody as bad as Jake Paul, he’s about as bad as it gets.”

However, that hasn’t appeared to rock the confidence of Paul, who is already eyeing up a clash with UFC legend Nate Diaz later this year.

“It’s finally here,” said the American. “Thank the higher powers and I’m going to put on a show.

“In boxing, people say, ‘Don’t look past your opponent’ but then that just means that you don’t truly believe you’re going to win.

“I know I have to go in there and perform, but I don’t see myself not doing that.

“I do schedule things, I’m a businessman and I love my Google calendar.

“I’ve got a ‘to-do list’ every day so of course I’m thinking about future fights and planning those.

“Nate Diaz is next.”
