BRAHIM DIAZ admits AC Milan face a “unique” challenge in their bid to overturn Inter Milan’s 2-0 lead in the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.

But the former Manchester City striker, on loan from Real Madrid, is adamant there is still time for his team to change the face of the tie.

Diaz, 23, said: “Defeat was a blow to morale but we still have 90 minutes to change the picture of the semi-final.

“We will jump on to the pitch with a unique challenge – to forget the 2-0 defeat and win through to the final.”

Pep Guardiola believes his City stars have done the hard yards since the start of the domestic campaign, finally overhaulin­g an Arsenal side who have led the way almost all season.

So even though Madrid are in town on Wednesday, the Spanish boss and his players are in no mood to throw it away now as they travel to Goodison Park this afternoon to meet an Everton side fighting for their lives.

And Guardiola believes his Treble-chasing players will take Everton as seriously as the Spanish giants.

“The players are so humble and respectful to a lot of their opponents,” said the City chief.

“They know exactly how difficult Everton is, because they live it and they know what they are playing for.

“I don’t know what is going to happen but I am pretty convinced we will show incredible focus at Goodison Park.

“The Premier League, I have said it many times, is such an important title.

“Yes, I know the Champions League is so special, but the Premier League is many, many months, many tough, tough games, incredible effort, where we don’t lose the right mindset of where you have to be.
