- FIVE-TIME NAPS TABLE CHAMP MOORESTYLE’S BEST BETS…

IT MAY not be a case of looking to the skies above and asking for some divine intervention when LADIESCHURCH (2.15) lines up in the Listed Sole Power Sprint Stakes at Naas today. Winner of three of her 10 starts, including the Group Two Sapphire Stakes when she beat one of today’s rivals Mooniesta, the filly ran two solid races at Meydan this spring and has an outstanding record when fresh. Take the fouryear-old to cut down the likes of Moss Tucker and English raider Arecibo in the closing stages of the fivefurlong contest. BATED MOON (2.45) sets the standard for the feature

Group Three Coolmore Stud Irish EBF Sprint Stakes, while course and distance winner, PANIC ALARM is taken to reverse last month’s form with Lord Massusus in a seven furlong Listed event at 3.15.

It is hard to oppose River Tiber in the Coolmore Stud Calyx Stakes, but that clear cut win came on hock deep going.

The value may well be with the Ger Lyons trained TOURIST (1.45) who made a promising career debut at the track last month and gets 3lbs from the likely market leader. With a solid seasonal debut under her belt, the three-year-old PINAFORE (4.25) can take care of her elders in the British EBF Fillies Handicap at Ripon. A close fourth in a cracking handicap at Newmarket, that run should have shaken off the cobwebs and the William Haggas trained filly has top weight International Girl to worry about most.

There are some tricky handicaps at the North Yorkshire track, but that means there should be plenty of value on offer and old boy IRV (4.55) fits the bill nicely.

Last a winner off a mark of 56 just under a year ago, the sevenyear-old is set to run off 50.
