FT is now every THURSDAYinyour fabulous Daily Star – so make sure to amend your diaries and brains accordingly. WWE have performed a kind of magic so far this year – and before the weekend is out, another monthly payperwill have bitten the dust.

Our world leaders are certainly in a rich vein of form – it’s the best vintage for some considerable time, so they go into Sunday’s Night of Champions Show under no pressure.

The show has come around quicker than a bad Queen pun rolls off the tongue. But don’t stop menow!

And if you are unfamiliar with the 1970s rock giants I’m referring to, it’s past your bedtime.

Ignoring the fact that every title is technically supposed to be on the line, we should have another in a series of captivating shows.

The excellent emergence of the McMahon dynasty as our new ruling class has only augmented some of the excellent work put in throughout the year, and particularly since Mania.

WWE have seemingly found a happy groove and reconnected after a number of years with those of us who still remember Freddie Mercury, rather than just kids.

Randy Orton is the ideal man to be the tool of the delicious StephanieandTripleH–although Show seems to be getting his air time too – and the concoction of layer upon layer of manipulative scheming from the Billion Dollar Princess is well worth the entrance fee alone.

Daniel Bryan has been painted as something of a hapless geek throughout it all, but come game time will turn in a match of sublime quality that few in the business can match.

Orton on his day is one of them, and he is overdue.

RVD and Alberto Del Rio (Bert River is the literal translation) compete for the second World belt and in all honesty, perhaps a last hurrah might be written in the stars for the man from Battle Creek. What odds would you have had on that as he sat with me in a freezing Nottingham last January?

Perhaps as long as the odds that we are finally going see the comeuppance of the brilliant Paul Heyman at the hands of CM Punk on Sunday? WWE will want his level of performance to live forever, no-one within their right mindwantsitalltostopnow.Axel has a big chance to shine here, and keep his belt too.

Rumour is rife out there that Fergal “Prince” Devitt of New Japan is next on the acquisitions list for WWE, as the man himself told us. Who is to say that the offer hasn’t already been made? But perhapsthegreatpretenderweall want to see up on WWE television is Adrian Neville.

Sitting in the glare of WTTV lights in January I predicted he’d be intercontinental champ by the end of 2013. I’m running out of rope, and surely the former PAC wants to break free from NXT?

WWE Night of Champions airs on Sky Box Office at 1am on Sunday night/Monday morning.
