THIS is Becky Watts’ stepbrother, who was yesterday charged with murdering the butchered 16-year-old.

Nathan Matthews, 28, is seen at a fancy dress party with girlfriend Shauna Phillips, 21, who is accused of perverting justice in connection with Becky’s killing.

The pair were formally charged 36 hours after police found parts of a cut-up body at a house and said they were probably the teenager’s remains.

Also pictured at the fancy dress party were Becky’s dad Darren Galsworthy, 51, and his wife Anjie, 49, who is the mum of accused Matthews.

The snap shows delivery driver Matthews handcuffed in a convict suit.

The 2012 Facebook image emerged as police announced the accused couple will appear before magistrates today.

The charges came almost a fortnight after Becky was last seen at her dad’s house in Bristol.

Four men and a woman were arrested on Monday accused of assisting an offender in relation to the crime and were last night still being questioned.

They were named locally as twin brothers Donovan and Karl Demtrius, 29, their younger brother Shannon, 23, Karl’s girlfriend Jaydene Parsons and Jamie Ireland, both 23.

Becky’s disappearance sparked a frantic search across the city, which came to an end after police revealed they had found body parts believed to belong to the teen on Monday.

An Avon And Somerset Constabulary spokesman said: “Nathan Matthews, 28, of Cotton Mill Lane, Bristol, has been charged with the murder of Rebecca Watts.

“He remains in custody and is due before Bristol Magistrates’ Court tomorrow at 10am.”

They added that Shauna, whose real surname is Hoare, would also appear tomorrow.

The charges came hours after Shauna was rushed to hospital with a mystery illness.

She was returned to custody shortly after treatment.

Meanwhile, police officers carried a yellow “Do not enter: Dangerous Chemicals” sign into Becky’s home.

Her devastated brother Dan, 21, posted a heartbreaking tribute to her on Facebook.

He wrote: “This has left a deep hole in my heart and will continue to haunt me.

“To everyone messaging and supporting me, I haven’t replied because I simply have no words.

“I thank you all and deeply appreciate everyone’s support. Love to you all.” The teenager’s aunt Sarah Broom – sister of Becky’s dad Darren – also left a moving online tribute to her “shy” and “beautiful” niece. She said: “So today my brother got his baby girl back!! He is completely and utterly broken and there is nothing in this world of comfort to him. How does a parent ever recover from this? How can a family? Someone has robbed him of all he was and crushed him on their way out!!

“So with tears rolling down my face Becky, you beautiful beautiful soul, you have touched so many hearts and changed so many lives!”

She added: “Your shy introvert nature has outshone and touched a whole city and beyond.

“We’re all so crushed and drained of all we own for today, but you bet next time we need to be strong we will be right there.”
