WILLS’ FLYING DOC A RINGER FOR KATE

Royal lookalike joins team

PRINCE William is working alongside a Princess Kate lookalike.

Wills flew his first shift as an air ambulance pilot with brunette Dr Gemma Mullen.

The Cheshire-born medic looked like Kate’s double in some snaps, with her long brown hair, elegant profile and dark, twinkling eyes.

But Dr Gemma, 33, wears an easier to care for hairstyle with a fringe. And style- icon Kate is unlikely to don the orange jumpsuit and white helmet worn by the medic any time soon.

One onlooker said: “Wills piloting a chopper was always going to make the headlines but he probably didn’t expect to be upstaged by a colleague.

“Dr Mullen is obviously a supersmart, highly qualified young professional. But her beautiful looks didn’t go unnoticed either.”

Wills and Dr Gemma will work from the East Anglian Air Service’s Cambridge base.

It means the royal can commute from his Norfolk mansion where Kate, Prince George and Princess Charlotte live.

Wills, 33, charmed the nation before his first shift by giving an insight into his young family.

He called Charlotte a “joy from heaven” while revealing that George was a “little monkey”.

Stay-at-home mum Kate has also hired a nanny and housekeeper to help run the huge red-brick home.
