Singer denies plan to make ex look bad
PETER Andre told a court yesterday how he was a total “mess” after splitting from his first wife Kate Price.
The singer also denied any plan to portray the glamour girl publicly as a “complete bitch”.
TELLY star Peter Andre told a court yesterday he went through hell after he left wife Kate Price.
He denied there was a plan with his manager to paint Kate as a “complete bitch”.
Peter said he had never men- tioned publicly why he left Kate, who he divorced in 2009, and when she spoke about their split on Piers Morgan’s chat show, she said: “I thought it was horrific.”
He told the High Court: “I had never mentioned why I left and what had happened. I was in a mess.”
Peter said he did not accept his manager Claire Powell came up with a plan to make him look good and Kate look bad.
The Aussie singer was giving evidence for ITV2 in their contract dispute with Neville Hendricks, who was the producer of a reality series about Peter and was Powell’s partner until the couple’s relationship turned nasty.
Peter, 42, who married Emily MacDonagh last week, also told the court how scared Powell told him that Hendricks had threatened to kill her.

“I presume he was in a rage when he made these horrific threats.”
Peter also alleged Hendricks had threatened to ruin his career.
And he said Hendricks went on to make “vile, abusive” tweets which made it impossible for them to ever work together again.
Hendricks, through his company Mr H TV Ltd, is seeking £5million for lost business, £549,060 damages and costs from ITV2 after they pulled the plug on him producing shows involving Peter and fellow reality star Kerry Katona.
It was alleged there was a “dishonest” conspiracy between Powell and ITV2 to oust Hendricks, of Hersham, Surrey.
