GEORGE Clooney is planning to start a family with wife Amal, despite swearing he would never become a father.

The Hollywood star, 54, once famously accepted big cash bets from Michelle Pfeiffer, 57, and Nicole Kidman, 48, that he would still be childless by 50. But 10 months after marrying in Venice, Italy, the couple are said to have consulted a fertility specialist in order to get the ball rolling.

A source said: “They have decided it is the right time.”
