Greeks ‘rip up’ lifeline
A FURIOUS Greek MP shows what he thinks of his Prime Minister’s planned cuts to secure a eurozone bailout deal – by tearing them up.
Raging Ilias Kasidiaris threw the shredded papers at Alexis Tsipras as left-wing members of the PM’s own Syriza party revolted during a debate on measures needed to secure the £86billion rescue. But the vote was set to be passed, paving the way for the bailout money.
Meanwhile, David Cameron has vowed Brits will not bail out Greece with cash but will send humanitarian aid.
His refusal came after European finance chiefs demanded that all EU countries help support the stricken country.
