WALLIAMS MARRIAGE GONE IN 60 SECONDS
David & Lara get a‘quickie’
BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge David Walliams has ended his marriage to Lara Stone in a 60-second hearing.
Walliams, 44, was granted a “quickie” divorce from his supermodel wife yesterday.
He had filed papers to end their five-year union on the grounds of her “unreasonable behaviour”.
District Judge Heather MacGregor formally dissolved the marriage after ruling their relationship had irretrievably broken down.
Neither David nor Lara were at the Central Family Court in London.
The comic’s petition in their real names of David Edward Williams v Lara Cathe- rina Stone appeared on a list of 21 undefended cases.
When asked on the form if he had lived with the 31-year-old for more than six months since they had separated, he ticked the box marked no.
The couple were granted a decree nisi which could see their marriage officially end within six weeks.
The pair – worth a reported £19million – parted in March. Lara moved out of their north London mansion with their two-year-old son Alfred and their border terrier Bert.
The split came almost five years after they tied the knot in May 2010 following a whirlwind romance.
David faced a further blow last night when it emerged he has lost his Guinness World Records kissing gong.
Beauty firm boss Heather Chastain, 41, beat the record he set on Comic Relief.
