DJ Fox ‘groped fan, 15’
ACCUSED: The presenter RADIO DJ Neil Fox molested his “biggest fan” when she was a 15-year-old schoolgirl, a court heard.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told police she “idolised” the former Pop Idol judge.
She claimed she once performed a sex act on him in the Capital Radio record library in 1988.
She told the court: “We were at the back corner, at the end of a low row of record shelves and he kissed me. I was 15 and had never had a boyfriend so I didn’t know what to do.”
She also said that the DJ “snogged” her in an underground car park and she later started visiting his flat.
Fox told police the girl had a “soft spot” for him and radio pals teased him because she was “fixated” on him. He said: “I’m sorry, but I don’t want to snog a 15-year-old girl. I know that’s where we’re heading and I haven’t done it.
“There were lots of girls who tried to be very inappropriate with myself and my colleagues.”
Fox, 54, of Fulham, south-west London, denies eight counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault between 1988 and 2014. The trial at Westminster Magistrates’ Court continues. FIREFIGHTERS were called into action to help free a man after his arm got stuck in a letterbox
