BRITS NOT FIT TO TOIL UNTIL
KATE Price sizzles in a saucy outfit to promote her new social media app.
The glamour girl’s software allows fans to connect with her in a “more personal and interactive way”, as well as creating profiles. Kate, 37, said: “It’s a social network for me and those wanting to be a part of a KP nation.”
The new app, pictured right, is available for free from Apple’s App Store and Google Play for Android.
THE nation’s workers will not be healthy enough to keep going up to the new state pension age, experts warned last night.
Brits’ well-being deteriorates so quickly after the age of 60 that many will struggle to still be employed when they retire at 66.
The new pension age comes into force by October 2020, but will rise again to 67 by 2028 and 68 by the mid-2030s.
Mark Pearson of the Organisation For Economic Co-Operation And
PEAK: Altmann Development said the move will not work unless public health improves.
He said: “When you look at the health status of people between 60 and 70, you see a very rapid decline in the UK. If we are serious about making people work to 68, we have to do much better at tackling such issues as obesity, alcohol consumption and smoking.” But Pensions Minister Baroness Altmann said: “Age is no longer a reliable indicator of fitness for work. Many are often at the peak of their careers in their 50s or 60s and not ready to give up.”
