Joe keen to settle

France goalkeeper Lloris, 29, said: “We don’t have the maturity of some teams, like City or Arsenal.

“You need experience. You can’t buy it. You need to play games. You need to lose. You need to win.

“We are young, we are talented, we are doing well, there is a great spirit in the team and we are working hard, so everything is positive, but we need to go step by step.

“We will see where we are before the last 10 games, but at the moment we want to fight and stay as high as possible in the table.

“It’s a great chance for us. We are in a great position at the moment and we need to take advantage of that.” FORMER England star Joe Cole looks set to turn his loan spell at Coventry into a permanent move by the end of the week.

The 34-year-old’s current deal at Aston Villa runs out in the summer and the former Chelsea man is keen to finalise the switch.

Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbray is urging the club to tie up the loose ends to land his man.

Injury-plagued Cole admits he’s loving just getting out and playing regular first-team football again.

Cole said: “I’d love to make the deal permanent. For me, it is a big challenge and I’m enjoying every day training and playing.”

Newcastle’s Gael Bigirimana has extended his loan spell at Coventry until January 24 and Mowbray is also hopeful of making his move permanent.
