FANS SURE LIAM RING IS SIGN OF MARRIAGE
ONE Direction’s Liam Payne has bought girlfriend Cheryl a huge diamond ring – sparking rumours that’s he about to pop the question.
The boyband hunk has reportedly forked out on the gift for the former Girls Aloud babe’s 33rd birthday on Thursday.
The black diamond and ruby ring is said to feature a design inspired by her famous vast rose bum tattoo.
Liam, 22, got his own rose tattoo shortly after the couple started dating eight months ago.
But 1D fans reckon it is proof that he is about to get down on one knee and propose to the former X Factor judge.
And bookies have now slashed their odds on the pair getting engaged sometime this year.
The celeb pair sparked marriage rumours earlier this month when they attended Liam’s sister Ruth’s wedding.
They are also rumoured to be trying for a baby.
Twitter user zeyoncenation wrote: “Why do I have a feeling that Liam and Cheryl are either gonna have a baby OR get engaged?”
And bluefrenchoran tweeted: “Watch liam and cheryl get engaged.”
Bookmakers William Hill has reduced the odds of Liam popping the question from 6-1 to 4-1.
Spokes- man Joe Crilly said: “At first it looked like the relationship would struggle to see out the month.
“But the pair have confounded the doubters and a proposal may not be out of the question.”
They will have to wait to get hitched however as Cheryl is still married to the French businessman Jean-Bernard FernandezVersini.
The pair filed for divorce in December last year after just 18 months of marriage.
Jean-Bernard, 35, is rumoured to be playing hardball in the settlement having dumped his legal team for failing to reach a financial agreement with Cheryl’s advisers.
Both Cheryl’s and Liam’s spokesmen were unavailable for comment.
