GIRLS STRIP FOR RIPPER NET GHOULS

Then they flog his replies

- By JERRY LAWTON jerry.lawton@dailystar.co.uk

WOMEN are sending Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe raunchy snaps so they can sell the letters he sends back on the internet.

The killer has seen a huge rise in correspondence since being moved from a psychiatric hospital to a top security jail.

Many of the letters are from women hoping for a pen-pal relationship so they can sell his replies for up to £500 on websites dedicated to notorious killers.

They send the former lorry driver – who murdered 13 women – letters full of sexual references and steamy pics.

But bosses at Frankland jail, Co Durham, weed out and destroy any pics that are too risqué.

A source said: “There’s a market for letters, cards and drawings from killers and the prices can be quite high depending on the content.

“Sutcliffe is known the world over so his material goes for a premium.

“He’s getting a lot of letters now he’s back in the public eye due to being ® transferred. He realises some of the letters are sold on but he’s a prolific letter writer and women who write to him quite often receive a reply.” Several of his letters are on a US site that also offers for £462 a sweat-stained super-size T-shirt which used to belong to the fiend. It has his name on the back and that of the ward he was on at Broadmoor top security hospital. True crime nuts can also own a piece of the serial killer’s handwriting on a postcard from Blackpool. The card shows the town’s famous tower. It was posted in July 1998 – 17 years after Sutcliffe was jailed for the murders. On the back he jokes: “As you can see I’m addicted to Blackpool having been there again. Tee Hee!!” The card is signed “Lots of love Pete xxxx” and is available for £300. Sutcliffe, 70, from Bradford, was held at Broadmoor in Berkshire until doctors decided he was no longer insane.
