Bank on Son shining for Spurs in showdown

- Charlie McCann of BetVictor gives StarBets his top tips

LEADERS Manchester City and second-placed Tottenham are both missing key players for their White Hart Lane clash tomorrow.

Punters must decide who will be handicapped the most – a City side without the influential Kevin De Bruyne or Spurs, who line up without last season’s top scorer Harry Kane.

Kane’s absence is likely to mean a start for Vincent Janssen up front but the former Alkmaar striker has so far shown little of the form that won him the prestigious Johan Cruyff Trophy in his native Holland last season.

But Son Heung-min was superb against CSKA in midweek and boss Mauricio Pochettino could consider playing the South Korean down the middle. Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Spurs’ recent signing from Marseille, also impressed in Moscow but he might make more of an impact from the bench.

City will clearly miss the classy De Bruyne and I think this is a game Spurs can win.

Pochettino’s men have quietly gone about their business so far this season while City and Liverpool have taken the plaudits. City are suspect at the back and I expect to see goals. Spurs are 19-10 at BetVictor with the draw 13-5 and City 29-20.

Son (right) is at 21-10 to score and that might be too big.

Arsenal travel to Turf Moor tomorrow to meet a Burnley side who have only conceded five goals in their last 17 home league games.

Burnley are 9-1 to shock the north London side and we won’t get rich backing Arsenal at 4-11.

Theo Walcott was irresistible in the Champions League in midweek and, like Son, is on fire at the moment.

At 31-20, he can find the back of the Clarets’ net tomorrow.
