STORM AT TYSON’S ‘GREATEST’ RANT
ANGRY Tyson Fury last night quit boxing – then vowed he would be back in the ring.
The heavyweight champion first told his critics to “go suck a d***”.
But within hours he retracted his statement, promising to “defend” his “heavyweight throne” once he has recovered from “mental health issues”.
Fury, 28, won four world title belts in November 2015 when he defeated Wladimir Klitchsko.
But the last 11 months have been littered with controversies and weird quotes and the fighter has twice pulled out of rematches with 40-year-old Ukrainian Klitchsko.
He is also reported to have failed a drugs test after allegedly testing positive for cocaine and is set for a hearing next month. Fury ranted: “Boxing is the saddest thing I ever took part in, all a pile of s***.
“I’m the greatest & I’m also retired, so go suck a d*** happy days.”
That looked like calling time on Fury’s career, but with the loudmouth Brit set to have his titles stripped, he then vowed he would be king of the ring again.
Fury said: “Hahahaha u think you will get rid of the GYPSYKING that easy!!! I’m here to stay. Soon as I get better I’ll be defending what’s mine, the heavyweight throne.”
Since beating Klitchsko in Dusseldorf, the unbeaten Manchester-born fighter has hit the headlines for his erratic behaviour away from boxing.
He sparked outrage by linking homosexuality to paedophilia.
