A MUM killed herself and her son after she was stalked by an obsessed man, a close friend claimed last night.

Nurse turned lawyer Sinead Higgins, 37, and her son Oisin O’Driscoll, seven, were found dead when police broke into their home.

Neighbour Barbara Lunnon said she believed her friend had killed herself and Oisin as a result of depression after being harassed.

Barbara said Sinead had split up from a long-term partner, adding: “A month ago I had an hour’s chat with her. She said things were going wrong and she could not cope any more.”

Four days before the bodies were found at their house in Ruislip, west London, Sinead posted a tweet seemingly predicting trouble. The online message read: “The future looks very...” followed by an emoji of a tornado. In a photograph posted on Instagram less than a month before, the mum shared a selfie of her and Oisin, with: “#togetherforever.”

Sinead trained to become a clinical negligence litigation executive after working as a nurse.

Barbara said: “She used to work as a nurse in Chelsea. She used to treat the football players when they got injured, like Chelsea and Arsenal players.”

Barbara believed Sinead, had been drinking and had lost her previous “glamorous” look.

Police have said they do not believe any third party was involved in Wednesday’s deaths.
